As we are going into the traditional wedding season, this week’s challenge at Just Add Ink is to create a project using a wedding theme. I think the soft blue and gray in the color theme for this week’s challenge at Create with Connie and Mary works nicely for a wedding card.
Here’s the details:
The base is Soft Sky.
A piece of the pretty Sheer Perfection Vellum from the 2015 Sale-A-Bration is layered on white card stock cut the same size as the vellum and then matted with a piece of Silver Foil paper. The “wrong” side of the vellum is a softer shade, which is the side I used for this card.
The sentiment is from the Big News stamp set, stamped in Smoky Slate ink on Whisper White paper and cut out with an oval framelit. It is layered onto the next size large oval in Blackberry Bliss.
A small flower in Blackberry Bliss with a rhinestone center add the final touch.
