The month of May has been such a cloudy and rainy month where I live that thoughts of a vacation in some sunny location must have been on my mind as I played with this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge. The sunburst from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set, the Happy Hour stamp set, and a bright color palette all came together to create this cheerful card.
Here’s the details:
I started with a Bermuda Bay base.
The sunburst is stamped in Crushed Curry and the sentiment stamped in the center using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Using the Circles Collection framelit dies, I cut out the sunburst and layered it on Crushed Curry card stock cut with the next larger circle in the collection.
The three limes are stamped in Lucky Limeade on a narrow banner.
Using my Basic Black and Melon Mambo markers, I inked up the drink image, stamped it on Whisper White card stock and “fussy cut” it out. The little umbrella is stamped in Bermuda Bay and also fussy cut.
The Happy Hour stamp set is being retired from the Stampin’ Up! product line, so be sure to order yours before Tuesday, June 2.
