The Seize the Birthday challenge to create a pocket card caught my interest! I combined that with the color challenge over at Create with Connie & Mary to create this birthday card. To make the pocket for this card, I brought out my retired BigZ Scallop Envelope die with the pretty scallop edge on the envelope flap. It was just the right size for this sentiment from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. The background layer is from the English Garden Designer Series Paper and I used the coordinating Garden in Bloom stamp set for the flower on the pocket. I finished by adding a couple of touches of gold using the Gold Sequin Trim and 1/8″ Gold Ribbon. The sequin trim is attached to the card with the handy Handheld Stapler.
