Stamp It Group Blog Hop, Valentine's Day

Team Stamp It Blog Hop – Valentine’s Day

Hello and welcome to the Stamp It Group’s Valentine Day Blog Hop.  Today, we are featuring cards with a love theme.   I’m sharing a Valentine card designed for my husband with a simple masculine look in classic black and red.

I used a mix of new products from the 2020 Occasions Catalog and products in the 2019-2020 Annual catalog which carried over from the 2019 Occasions catalog.  The new Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder makes a nice versatile background and the striped design from the From My Heart Speciality Designer Series Paper was exactly the classic look I wanted.  The hearts were all cut with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits dies, including the foil heart strip in the background.  The sentiment is from the new Heartfelt stamp set and fits perfectly on the smaller heart.  The arrow is also from the Heartfelt stamp set.  I stamped it in black ink and fussy cut it out.  It is adhered to the back of the white heart and both are popped up with dimensionals.

Inside the card, I used stamps from 3 sets – Forever Lovely, Heartfelt, and Meant to Be.  I usually overlook the smaller sentiments in a set, but the “my love” stamp in the Forever Lovely set adds a nice personal touch to the sentiment.  I used the Stamparatus to be sure that I would center the dotted heart perfectly around the sentiment.
