Sweet Baby

This week’s sketch over at Retro Sketches has so many possibilities and I want to share the card I created using the sketch.

I always have so much fun playing with the Something for Baby stamp set and coordinating Baby’s First framelits.  I think it reminds of playing with paper dolls as a young child.

To make this card, I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe card base.  I stamped the onsie in Calypso Coral, the flower in Crushed Curry, and the hanger in Baked Brown Sugar.  I used my Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral markers to add detail to the booties and attached them to a small piece of white Baker’s Twine.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners.  These pieces are adhered to a piece of Watercolor Wonder DSP.  I used my Small Scallop Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade to cut the scalloped edge on the Calypso Coral panel.

Wishing you a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!
