Beautiful You

One of my favorite stamp sets in the 2017 Occasions Catalog is Beautiful You.  It is so versatile with 3 different images of women and wonderful sentiments.

#143637 – Clear Mount,

#143004 – Wood Mount

hss-254The sketch at Hand Stamped Sentiments provided the layout of this card.  I used the paper piecing technique to dress the lovely lady.  It’s really an easy technique.  Simply stamp the image onto a piece of Designer Series Paper and cut out the portion you want, which in this case, is the dress.  Then adhere the dress to the image stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock.  To complete her outfit, I colored her hat using an Aqua Painter and my Emerald Envy stamp pad.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I think this is probably my favorite card I’ve seen using this set! I love the paper pieced polka dot dress. It looks amazing against the cross hatch black and white background. Great color palette! Thanks for playing along with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
